On March 31, 2025, Vice Secretary Wang Zibao of the Party General Branch of the School of International Education at ZUME led a team to conduct a survey at the international students’ dormitory. Accompanying him were the counselors in charge of international student affairs.

Vice Secretary Wang Zibao inspected the activity rooms, kitchens, and living rooms of the dormitory. He commended the overall environment and sanitary conditions and provided guidance on further improving the management model. During the symposium, Vice Secretary Wang had a cordial conversation with international students from countries such as Myanmar and Tajikistan. He inquired about their adaptation to life and studies in China and offered his care and encouragement. In particular, he extended sincere condolences to the students from Myanmar, who had recently experienced an earthquake. He assured them that the university would do its utmost to meet their needs and expressed confidence that everyone could overcome the difficulties together through joint efforts.

This survey not only deepened the university’s understanding of the international students but also clarified the direction for future work. Moving forward, the School of International Education will set clear goals, identify and fill gaps in its management, and ensure the smooth operation of daily teaching and living conditions for international students.
